As most of you know from my blog posts, my favorite type of knitting is Fair Isle. I love the way this book is organized. For a majority of the book, the patterns are shown as a photograph of an actual knitted swatch, so you can really see what it will look like knitted up. Then the graphs and info are on the left side of the page. This makes it very easy to flip through and see a plethora of patterns all at once.
The charts are easy to read, columns illustrate color changes and it’s so easy to find the perfect motif for a project since swatches are organized by row and stitch count.
Throughout the years, I have accumulated many Fair Isle books, so I am always hesitant to buy yet another one. 200 Fair Isle Motifs is definitely a good addition to my already existing collection.
